Lakita Long
Lakita Long is considered to be one of America’s most profound inspirational speakers and spiritual empowerment leaders. Her work is devoted to mentoring both adults and at-promise youth who are at risk of developing mental illness.
Lakita is affectionately known as “The People’s Therapist,” and she works tirelessly to change the narrative when it comes to addressing depression, anxiety, anger management, bullying, conflict resolution and youth empowerment.
Lakita is the author of nine books and eight instructional and motivational CDs, and she also is a radio talk show host and brand builder for women entrepreneurs.
She is the founder of Inspiring You! Ministries, Inc., which helps people become their best selves through conferences, trainings, mental health awareness and biblical principles.
She is also the founder of a program called Mental Health in the Church, which is an initiative that provides mental health training and coaching to faith-based organizations.
Lakita provides guidance to us on the design of our youth mentorship programs, as well as our law enforcement equity training.
